Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team and captain of the 2012's Fierce Five, as well as the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze on the balance beam. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to win the most number of medals in the Olympics. In the 2016, Olympics she took home a gold medal for the team event, which earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been one of the very first Americans to have two consecutive team golds. In addition, she won two silver medals in the floor and for individual all-around. After the 2002 Olympics the gymnast took three years off from gymnastics. The gold medal she won for the American team also won two World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly is a supporter and member of Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She plans to pursue a career in fashion and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce is a book that is due out later in the year.
